Singer Armaan Malik has been singing in numerous languages for the reason that age of 9, and he’s glad to see the rise of regional music in current occasions. He says social media has performed a pivotal position in creating this success story of the regional music business.
“I have been singing in different languages for the longest time now. How does he get the sounds and rhythms proper regardless of the language barrier? “I don’t need to know the language, that’s the beauty about music. If you can hear it and feel it, you can reproduce it. And that’s how I tend to function. I have been doing it for quite a few years now, and have got a lot of practice after recording in different languages. So, now, I’m very comfortable singing in any of the Indian languages,” says the singer, son of music composer Daboo Malik and nephew of Anu Malik.
When it involves the rising reputation of regional music, Malik credit social media for placing it on the market.
“There are so many different social media platforms that help promote music. Over the last two-three years, regional music, especially Tamil and Telugu, have done exceptionally well,” he says, including that the success of Baahubali franchise additionally performed a key position within the shift.
“That is when a lot of people started looking at the South Indian industry with even more eagerness,” shares Malik, whose mom is Telugu.
He additionally understands the magnitude of the regional business, and confesses, “When I work in that industry, I feel there’s so much variety when it comes to music and films. In fact, many Hindi films in recent times have been recreated versions of South Indian scripts”.
According to Malik, the regional is rising exponentially. “Now, people don’t bother about the language of the song. If the song is groovy, you can enjoy it. It happened with Kolaveri Di and Butta Bomma. Music has no language, and that has been proved by the wide popularity of regional music, which is kind of blowing up right now,” he indicators off.
